Hotline Ring: Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose

This AUP governs the use of the Hotline Ring platform and services. We provide tools for professional B2B sales engagement; we do not provide a platform for mass marketing or unsolicited communications.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Hotline Ring to:

  • Violate Laws: Engage in any activity that violates local, state, or international laws, including the TCPA (USA), GDPR (EU), or the UK Data Protection Act.

  • Spam & Robocalling: Send unsolicited bulk communications or use automated dialling for the purpose of "spamming."

  • Harassment: Engage in threatening, abusive, or harassing behaviour toward any individual.

  • Spoofing: Misrepresent your identity or the source of a call through caller ID spoofing for fraudulent purposes.

  • Sensitive Data: Record or transmit "Special Category Data" (health, religious, or political info) as defined in our DPA.

3. Telephony & Recording Compliance

  • Consent: You are responsible for ensuring that all calls recorded via Hotline Ring are done so with the required legal consent of all parties involved.

  • Opt-Outs: You must honour all requests by individuals to be placed on a "Do Not Call" list or to have their data deleted.

4. System Integrity

You may not attempt to circumvent our security, reverse engineer our HubSpot integration, or use the service in a way that disproportionately burdens our infrastructure.

5. Enforcement

Hotline Ring reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that this AUP has been violated.
